Testing the Checkout Flow
A quick guide for testers helping us validate festival registration and confirmation emails — without processing real donations.
1. Be invited as an admin
Test checkout is admin-only. The festival organizer must invite you as an admin from the Users area; you can't test without that role.
2. Use a registered email
Confirmation emails only deliver to registered app users. Sign in with your invited email so the test email actually arrives — otherwise the booking still confirms, but no email is sent.
3. Open the festival page and build a package
Select any events, choose dates for flexible events, and hit Checkout.
4. Use the Test Checkout button
In the checkout modal, admins see a "Test Checkout (admin — no payment)" button. It confirms the booking instantly and sends the real confirmation email — no DonorBox payment is opened.
